Vision

We are living in an unprecedented time in our planet’s history. The contrast has never been greater, which is enabling us to see more clearly, what we have created from our choices.  For each challenge that faces our planet and the human race as a whole, there also exists an extraordinary opportunity to evolve into the highest vision that we have ever imagined for ourselves, our families, our communities and the human race. One by one we are awakening to a new earth, with new possibilities to manifest and live in harmony with one another and with Mother Nature.  

It is from this understanding that we have continually asked ourselves the following questions. “What is our highest vision for the “ideal community” that we can imagine?  If all things are possible, what elements must this community posses that would make it so unique, so special and so wonderful, that it would attract like minded individuals to share this extraordinary experience together?

Our Vision for the Ideal Community

The ideal community would be located in a beautiful setting in Nature. Just being in nature, immediately re-connects us to Life. We suddenly feel better when we are in nature as it calms us and connects us to the earth. Can you imagine how rewarding it would be to actually live in nature and come home to nature?

The community would offer a lifestyle that promotes health and wellbeing for all. Clean air, organic gardens, hiking trails and places to exercise, meditate and rejuvenate the body.  The hiking trails would have exercise stations built along the trails within the forest that allow the residents to take long walks and workout in Nature. For an even more challenging workout, the trails would also provide the opportunity to do mountain biking and during the winter season, the trails would offer snow-shoeing and cross country skiing.

The homes would demonstrate what is possible with regard to, state of the art technologies for energy efficiency, sustainability and green building techniques. All of the materials that go into the home would be eco friendly, non toxic and save or produce it’s own energy. The homes would be designed to incorporate passive or active solar or geo thermal systems. Imagine a home with no utility bills. A home that produced all of it’s power for electricity, lights, heating and cooling, grew it’s own organic fruits and vegetables from the water captured from the roofs of the home and our own community wells. In a world of uncertainty, how comforting would it be to be self sufficient and self sustaining for ourselves and our families.

We would want the community to be filled with like-minded people who share a the same dream of living in harmony with Nature with their families and friends and their fellow neighbors. Common areas such as parks, barbeque areas and community organic farms, will provide the opportunity for residents to come together and share time and experiences with one another. The community farm will provide healthy fruits, vegetables and herbs at no cost to all the residents.

The home sites themselves would provide plenty of elbow room and open spaces for your personal privacy, enjoyment and expansive living. A welcome change from the high density living of the cities, crowded neighborhoods and suburbia living.

Being in Nature does not work 24/7. It is also nice to have access to all the amenities of a City within 20-25 miles. Whole Foods stores, shopping, restaurants, movie theatres, opera, galleries and everything we might need within easy access.

Homes will be built to New Mexico’s highest green standards, with specific emphasis given to creating a non-toxic living experience. Organic gardens will be constructed to healthfully sustain members of the community. The development will be completed with mindfulness and clarity as to not disrupt the natural order of the sacred environment we share. We believe by building our community with the goal of creating the healthiest environment for each member possible, we will therefore construct a community that is also the healthiest for the local environment, and therefore healthiest for the planet.

The Cliffs at Padre Spring’s community is founded firmly upon giving: giving to the Earth, to our families, to our children, to humanity, and to ourselves. We will strive for a community that is sustainable, non-toxic, and sympathetic to the natural order of our environment. By creating a community that embodies energy efficiency and conscious building design we will allow individuals to live fuller happier lives. They will be unrestrained by the modern burdens plaguing a majority of our population, and instead will be an example for the possibility of modern living.
